The Pain Relief Path: Menopause
Understand why your body hurts during perimenopause and postmenopause.
Joint pain. Slow recovery. More aches. Worse sleep. Hormonal changes don't just affect hot flashes. Learn what's happening and what evidence-informed options can help.
✓ Self-paced online course
✓ 4 weeks of evidence-informed education
✓ 12 months of access
✓ Developed by Dr. Sarah Vosburgh, ND
If you are dealing with pain, poor recovery from exercise, disrupted sleep, feeling hot, or simply no longer feeling like yourself, this course will help you understand what is actually happening in your body and what you can do about it.
What no one tells you is that these changes are not just “getting older.”
Many women in perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause are told their symptoms are unrelated or just part of getting older.
Pain increases
Recovery slows
Sleep changes
Focus drops
Mood worsens
There are real physiological changes happening in your muscles, joints, nervous system, and body systems that are directly influenced by hormones.
If you do not understand what is driving these changes, it becomes very difficult to choose the right next step.
This is where most women get stuck.
This course is for you if:
You are dealing with joint or muscle pain, headaches, or vaginal and pelvic discomfort that feels new or is getting worse.
You have tried to get better but feel dismissed, confused, or unsure of what is actually going on in your body.
You want clear, evidence-based guidance on both natural approaches and medical options, including menopausal hormone therapy.
You are being told this is normal, but it does not feel manageable or sustainable to you.
You are ready to understand what is happening in your body and make decisions with confidence instead of guesswork.
You are exhausted, not sleeping well, or struggling with focus or brain fog, and symptoms like hot flashes or night sweats.
Why learn from me?
Meet Dr. Sarah Vosburgh, ND
I'm Dr. Sarah Vosburgh, ND, a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen's University. I created The Pain Relief Path: Menopause after seeing how many women with pain, stiffness, poor recovery, and fatigue were told their symptoms were "just part of aging" without ever receiving a clear explanation.
In my clinical practice, I help women understand how hormonal changes can affect the musculoskeletal system, sleep, metabolism, and overall health so they can make informed decisions about their treatment options. This course brings together the same evidence-informed education and practical framework I use with my patients, making it accessible wherever you are.
My goal is simple: to replace uncertainty with understanding so you can move forward with confidence.

This is not another 10-step protocol or quick fix. This is structured hormone education for women in perimenopause and postmenopause who want to understand what is actually happening in their bodies and make informed, strategic decisions about their health.
You will walk away from the course understanding:
How to recognize whether you are in perimenopause or postmenopause and what that actually means for your body.
How to identify the musculoskeletal syndrome of menopause and what effective treatment options look like in practice.
How to evaluate menopausal hormone therapy and other treatment options so you can make informed decisions.
Why pain often increases in perimenopause and postmenopause and how to reduce it using evidence based strategies.
What is driving headaches and genitourinary symptoms like vaginal dryness, itching, pelvic discomfort, and pain with sex.
How to build a realistic, long term plan that supports your body now and as you age.
This is not for women looking for short-term solutions.
This course was developed from clinical experience working with women navigating pain, fatigue, and performance changes that were not being fully explained or addressed. Each week in the course, you will be guided through a clear progression so you can understand what is happening in your body and decide your next steps with confidence.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIGURE THIS OUT ON YOUR OWN
Understand Your Hormones and Why Your Body Feels Different in Perimenopause and Postmenopause
For Women 35+ Who Refuse to Accept Pain, Fatigue, or Declining Performance as “Normal”
WEEKLY MODULES:
This is where you move from confusion to clarity.
Each week builds on the last so you are not just learning information, but understanding how to apply it to your body and your situation.
Week 1:-
If you have been wondering why your body no longer responds the way it used to, or why symptoms that once seemed unrelated are suddenly affecting your life, this is where things begin to make sense.
In Week 1, you will connect the dots between hormonal changes, pain, sleep, mood, and performance in a way that helps you recognize your own experience in what you are learning. Instead of feeling dismissed, confused, or left to figure things out on your own, you will begin to understand why your symptoms may be happening and what deserves your attention.
By the end of this week, you will:
Better understand where you are in the menopause transition and how it may be influencing your symptoms.
Recognize the connections between hormones, stress, mood, and pain.
Understand why joint, muscle, pelvic, and headache pain can emerge or intensify during this stage.
Your practical tools:
Menopausal Symptom Score: Identify the symptoms affecting you most and track meaningful changes over time.
Hormone Testing Decision Guide: Understand when hormone testing may be useful and when it is unlikely to change your next steps.
Week 2:-
When you know something isn't right but aren't sure what to investigate, it is easy to feel overwhelmed or leave appointments without the answers you need.
In Week 2, you will learn to look at your pain through a more structured lens, connecting your symptoms to the investigations and assessments that can help guide your next steps. You will feel better equipped to ask informed questions, recognize what deserves further attention, and make decisions with greater confidence.
By the end of this week, you will:
Understand how your pain patterns can guide conversations about blood tests, physical exams, and imaging.
Recognize important pelvic and cardiovascular assessments during perimenopause and postmenopause.
Explore factors to consider before starting hormone therapy and investigate potential contributors to pain.

Midlife Pain Lab Guide: Key Tests for Perimenopause and Menopause: Understand which investigations may be worth exploring and how the results can inform your next steps.
Week 3:-
Understanding your symptoms is one thing. Knowing what you can do about them is where change begins.
In Week 3, you will explore evidence-informed approaches to reducing pain, improving sleep, and supporting recovery during perimenopause and postmenopause. Rather than feeling overwhelmed by endless treatment options, you will learn how to choose strategies that make sense for your needs and fit into your life.
By the end of this week, you will:
Understand how acupuncture, IV nutrient therapy, and herbal medicine may support pain management and recovery.
Learn practical sleep strategies, including CBT-I and sleep restriction therapy.

Rather than constantly reacting to symptoms, you will learn how to take a more proactive approach to pain management, recovery, and long-term health.
By the end of this week, you will:
Understand how nutrition and exercise can support pain management and prevention.
Explore treatment options for pelvic discomfort, headaches, and hormonal changes.
